We believe that BGMC is a gathered and scattered community of disciples. Sundays are important but only if they help us to live for God more faithfully and fruitfully during the rest of the week in our workplaces, homes and neighbourhoods.
When we meet together on a Sunday, we try to be real with God and each other. We enjoy the noise of children and reality that life and church can be messy and diverse, but hopefully never dull. Our relationships matter the most, so we don’t do dress codes, please come as you are.
Our Sunday service starts at 10.45am and each week is different but there is usually a mixture of worship – sung and spoken, teaching, prayer and an opportunity for all to be involved. We enjoy talking about what we hear and most Sundays there is a chance to discuss and ask questions about what is said and done.
Once a month we celebrate communion. There is a Junior Church for children and young people under 16 and a crèche for under 3’s during this time. Every 6 weeks the service is shorter and more interactive to help engage different ages of people. The sermon each Sunday is recorded and can be heard or downloaded here.
